On the 30th of September and the 1st ofOctober 2013, a meeting took place at the Technische Universität Chemnitz in Germany, being the official launch of the European Project THERMACO.
THERMACO is coordinated by TUC (Technische Universität Chemnitz) and contains 11 partners under which Lamborghini, Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), Università di Bologna (UNIBO), IETU (Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas) KIM Knowledge Innovation Market bcn, Graphenea, Cecimo, Infineon, and SPJO. The project is part of the EU Seventh-Framework Programme
THERMACO started the 1st of September 2013 and is part of the EU Seventh-Framework Programme.
THERMACO focuses on the production of new composite material, which gives the project a unique chance to take environmental aspects (for example a reduction of transportation emission and major energy savings) into account. THERMACO´s result ensures a fast-growing and highly-profitable market, as well as cost savings in the industry.
Finally, the project will lead to a technological breakthrough and a change of concept in every heat management application.
